Downtown Proud
is not just a tag line for the Downtown Wichita Falls Development ; it is our focus. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and we believe a healthy downtown is the heart of the city; it creates a sense of place for the citizens, businesses, and visitors.
Mission: Through public and private investment we will improve the downtown, entice new business and residents, and grow the economic base of our community and current businesses.

Stairwell at the Holt Hotel.
The Holt, originally constructed in 1910, was Wichita Falls first high rise building. In 2005, the Holt was renovated and converted into 41 apartments.

This weekend, come downtown and see the newest work of public art by @thealliance_wf and artists Steve Hilton and Jesse Baggett! "Better Together" is located at 7th and Indiana and is a beautiful representation of working together to achieve greatness! It consists of over 2,000 ceramic pieces!!
