Warner Music Nashville’s rising star, Redferrin, has quickly become one of country music’s most electrifying new voices. Much like the iconic Old No. 7 whiskey, crafted in Tennessee just like Redferrin, his music delivers a bold, but welcome, punch. Redferrin’s unique blend of country roots and hip-hop swagger is a fresh take on modern country, and with his new, highly anticipated, sophomore EP, Some City, Somewhere, he’s primed to make an even bigger impact.

Redferrin’s debut EP, Old No. 7 (which released February 16, 2024), featured seven songs, all co-written and co-produced by the Tennessee native. Old No. 7 proved to be massively successful, boasting over 275 million global streams, spawning viral hits as “Just Like Johnny” and “Jack and Diet Coke,” both of which have earned RIAA GOLD certifications, amassing 167M and 121M global streams respectively, and landing a coveted spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 (US) chart. To top it off, fellow Tennessee native Juicy J gave “Jack and Diet Coke” a hip-hop remix that took the already hit song in a bold new direction. On the heels of his debut EP, and ahead of the new music coming on Some City, Somewhere, Redferrin took his style of music to the fans. In 2024, Redferrin SOLD OUT nearly 30 of his 44 headlining shows, played 22 festivals including the UK’s Country-2-Country, Barefoot Country Music Festival, CMA Music Fest, Tailgates and Tallboys, Cavendish Beach Music Fest, Boots in the Park, and Boots and Hearts Festival to name a few. He shared the stage with legends like Niko Moon, Billy Currington, and Russell Dickerson, and in August 2024, he took his talent overseas with a UK tour, hitting cities like Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, and London.

Named a 2024 Amazon Breakthrough Artist to Watch and part of the RIAA Class of 2024, Redferrin has already surpassed 400 million global streams, cementing his status as one of country music’s fastest-rising stars. In addition to his own songs, Redferrin’s songwriting credits can be found among other hit-making artists such as Florida Georgia Line’s “Lil Bit” featuring Nelly, “New Truck,” and Dean Brody & The Reklaws’ massive hit “Can’t Help Myself.” Originally from White House, Tennessee, Redferrin’s journey to country music stardom started on the national Arenacross circuit before his passion for songwriting led him to Nashville. With Some City, Somewhere on the horizon, it’s clear that Redferrin’s story is just beginning, and the best is yet to come.

Raised in Liberty, Texas Jacob Stelly started his songwriting career a few hours away in College Station while attending Texas A&M University. With his 2019 debut release "University Heights", Stelly quickly began garnering a large following of fans throughout Texas and Oklahoma. 2022 came with his highly anticipated debut album release "Moondog", including songs like "Burnout" ft. Slade Coulter and "The Color Blue" pinned with Parker McCollum. Between his high energy live shows and infectious sing along melodies, Jacob Stelly is quickly becoming a name spreading amongst the Texas, americana, and red dirt music scenes.

Baylor Rose is a high-energy country rock quintet rooted in the Wichita Falls music scene, blending modern Texas country with classic Southern rock. What sets them apart is a powerhouse vocal lineup — three lead singers trading rich harmonies and gritty hooks that bring every set to life. The group’s sound covers crowd favorites from Eagles and John Mellencamp to Brooks & Dunn, delivered with tight musicianship and authentic swagger. The band has quickly become a local favorite, earning headline slots at iconic venues like the Iron Horse Pub and sharing stages with top regional acts. With a repertoire built to move a crowd and original material in the works, Baylor Rose brings soulful vocals, serious groove, and unmistakable Texas flavor to every stage.

The Steward Family String Band

Sat 2:30 PM

Opening the show with lively, traditional acoustic string music, The Steward Family String Band brings old-time fiddle tunes, folk ballads, and roots-driven melodies to life with heart and precision. A true family ensemble led by Eb Steward alongside his children, the group showcases rich interplay on fiddle, guitar, and other traditional instruments with arrangements that bridge Celtic-tinged reels, classic American folk, and Texas-style string traditions. Known for performances at regional fiddle contests and community jam events — including appearances at the Athens Fiddle Contest and Bob Wills Fiddle Fest — they deliver an authentic, organic set that sets the perfect tone for the evening.

Is the festival family-friendly?

Yes. The Downtown Wichita Falls St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival is designed for all ages. We offer a dedicated kid's with games and activities. Children are welcome throughout the day, and kids 12 and under are free.

What happens if it rains?

The festival is a rain-or-shine event. We’ll adjust as needed for weather, but plan to proceed with live music, vendors, and activities. In the unlikely event of severe weather that forces cancellation, we’ll share updates on our website and social channels along with next steps for ticketholders.

Can I leave and come back during the day?

Yes. Re-entry is allowed for all ticket holders as long as you keep your festival wristband on. You may be subject to a quick bag and security check upon re-entry.

Where should I park?

There are multiple public parking lots and street parking options within walking distance of the festival footprint in downtown Wichita Falls.

Are pets allowed?

For the safety and comfort of all guests, we recommend leaving pets at home, with the exception of trained service animals. Crowds, music levels, and weather can be stressful for most pets.

Do I need a separate ticket for the 5K and the festival?

If you want to run the Shamrock 5K and attend the festival, choose the “Shamrock 5K + Festival” ticket option. That single purchase covers your 5K registration, race shirt (while supplies last), and full-day festival access.
