World’s Littlest Skyscraper

The Newby-McMahon Building, commonly referred to as the world’s littlest skyscraper, is located at 701 La Salle in downtown Wichita Falls, Texas. This late Neoclassical style red brick and cast stone structure is 40ft tall, and its exterior dimensions are 18ft deep and 10ft wide. Its interior dimensions are approximately 12ft by 9ft, or approximately 108sqft. Steep, narrow, internal stairways leading to the upper floors occupy roughly 25 percent of the interior area.

Modern day, the skyscraper houses multiple artists, and is connected to a unique furniture boutique called Hello Again! The shop encompasses the storefronts of the Newby-McMahon building & continues the boutique experience to the upper levels of the skyscraper.
